      Chris studied dentistry at Liverpool University and remained in the city for the next six years working as an Associate Dentist before he moved to London in 1990.

      He has worked in private practice ever since, including a spell in the corporate world with Boots Dentalcare. His particular interests include cosmetic dentistry, root canal treatment and adult orthodontics, and he always aims to create a relaxed clinical atmosphere to help put patients at ease.

      Dr Priya Rasalam qualified as a dentist in 2003 and began her career as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery across North London. In 2006, she was awarded Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery by the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

      Since relocating to East Kent in 2007, Priya has worked as a General Dental Practitioner, known for her gentle and patient-led approach to care. In 2011, she completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Restorative Dentistry at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute.

      Priya has a special interest in aesthetic and minimally invasive dentistry, including systems such as Invisalign and Enlighten whitening, as well as composite bonding techniques. She is particularly experienced in supporting nervous patients and is committed to providing personalised care that meets individual needs.

      She has completed training in mercury-safe dentistry through the IAOMT and, where clinically appropriate, incorporates a holistic approach tailored to patient preferences.

      Outside of dentistry, Priya is a busy mum of two who enjoys adventure, reading, and collecting curiosities from around the world.

      Durmila Rana qualified as a dentist in Nepal in 2013 and relocated to the UK the same year. She registered with the General Dental Council in 2015 and has since worked as a general dentist across various practices in the UK.

      She has a particular interest in minimally invasive dentistry and enjoys providing restorative and cosmetic treatments. Durmila finds root canal therapy especially rewarding, taking pride in preserving natural teeth and tailoring treatment plans to suit each patient’s individual needs.

      Currently, she is undertaking postgraduate training in dental implantology, which she views as a natural extension of her restorative focus. Her commitment to lifelong learning reflects her dedication to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.

      Dr Mei Huang is a GDC-registered Specialist in Periodontics working across Kent and London. She is also a Clinical Lecturer in Periodontology at the Eastman Dental Institute, UCL. After qualifying in Dentistry from Southern Medical University (China) in 2010, she completed a Master’s in Periodontology and later earned a PhD in Dental Biomaterials from Queen Mary University of London in 2017.

      In 2019, Dr Huang joined the Eastman Dental Institute and Hospital as an NIHR Clinical Lecturer and Specialty Registrar. She completed her specialist training and was awarded Membership in Periodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2023.

      Her clinical practice focuses on the prevention and management of gum disease (periodontitis), peri-implant conditions, and periodontal reshaping procedures. She accepts referrals for a wide range of periodontal treatments, providing care based on the latest clinical guidelines and research

      Outside of her professional work, Dr Huang enjoys cooking, crafting, gardening, and spending time with her family.
